Jason Lyle Black is an award-winning piano entertainer whose clever arrangements, fun stories and onstage charm has won countless fans throughout the world.
In his live shows, Black takes audiences on a journey through numerous musical styles, playing nearly 100 songs in his fast-paced show, all interwoven with Black’s comedic stories like “Songs Not to Play at People’s Weddings and Funerals.”
Black is known for reaching over 30 million people worldwide through his music videos, as well as having performed on the Ellen Degeneres show in Hollywood, where Ellen called him “Unbelievable!” Black also performed on Fuji Television in Tokyo, Japan, and in many other TV and radio programs in the U.S.
Black’s viral Disney videos have been featured by Good Morning America, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Yahoo, and TIME magazine. Most recently, his covers of popular video game music from the Call of Duty and Doom franchies have reached over 1 million fans worldwide.
Black also works as a published arranger and composer for the piano, having authored three bestselling piano books with the world’s largest music publisher, Hal Leonard. His most popular book, Disney Medleys for Piano Solo, is an Amazon bestseller, with over 10,000+ copies sold nationwide.
Black’s original music has also reached a wide audience, with his album of original classical music, Piano Preludes, reaching #2 on the Billboard music charts—right below Enya. Black’s other original albums include Another Point of View (2009), Remembrance (2020), as well as a Christmas album (2011) and Disney album (2018). In total, his music has over 3,000,000+ streams on Spotify (this is in addition to his video views!).
As a young and rising performer, Black has already released six studio albums, given private parties in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and has even taught piano to Academy Award-winning movie stars! Most of all though, he enjoys using music as a tool to put a smile on people’s faces.

Jason Lyle Black releases ground-breaking collection of Disney Medleys with Hal Leonard, the world's largest music publisher.
In February 2018, Black was honored to release Disney Medleys for Piano Solo, one of the only books of its kind, with Hal Leonard, the world's largest music publisher, featuring 35 Disney classics arranged by Black into ten medleys.
"It has been an amazing honor to work with Hal Leonard and Disney on such an exciting project," Black notes. "Like all of us, I grew up loving the Disney classics. And since my first concerts years ago, I have made Disney songs part of the live concert experience for my fans. So, to now be able to retell these songs in a way personal to me has been pure artistic joy."

Jason Lyle Black promotes Down syndrome awareness month, touching hearts worldwide.
In October 2017, for Down syndrome awareness month, Black released a video he arranged and produced featuring the first-ever recorded piano trio of individuals with Down syndrome. CNN calls the video "the most heartwarming thing you'll see all day." The video reached over half a million people worldwide across Facebook and YouTube. Jason Lyle Black tops Ed Sheeran, John Legend, and Billy Joel on piano sales charts
In March 2015, shortly after the release of his viral video of Disney's Frozen, Jason was published by Hal Leonard, the world's largest sheet music publisher, and quickly rose to the top of the sheet music sales charts, topping John Legend, Ed Sheeran, and Billy Joel to reach the #1 spot upon its release.
